How a project may progress
Every property is different, so this is the shape a project usually takes rather than a fixed schedule. The order can change, and so can the detail.

Initial enquiry
You tell us the property, the pool, and what you want done — or that you are not sure, which is a perfectly good answer. A few photographs of the garden or the pool say more than a long description.

Understanding the site
The plot, the access, and anything that needs to be approved before work starts. Levels, underground services, boundary walls and the route machinery would take all shape what can be built and how.

Technical assessment
For an existing pool, what is actually happening — the symptoms, the history, and what has changed. Water loss is measured, equipment is checked and, where needed, lines are pressure tested before anything is proposed.

Design and planning
The scope, the decisions involved, and what the work will actually involve — shape and depth for a new pool, the extent of a renovation, and which equipment suits the pool and the plant space.

Construction or renovation
The build itself, or the tile, structural and waterproofing work on a pool that already exists. Each stage is checked before the next one covers it, because waterproofing and fittings are hard to reach later.

Systems and equipment
Pump and filtration, heat and cool installation, and how the pool will be run, including the electrical supply the equipment needs and where the plant will stand.

Final coordination
What is checked and handed over at the end, and anything still to be explained — the controls, the equipment manuals and a record of where pipes and cables run.
